Germany's far-right protest movement Pegida (an acronym that translates to Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamization of the Occident) released a "hymn" on Dec. 21.
It quickly became the most downloaded song on Amazon in Germany, even surpassing Adele's "Hello."
Titled "Gemeinsam Sind Wir Stark!” (“Together We Are Strong!”), the hymn doesn't have any lyrics but is meant to support the group's far right Islamophobic and xenophobic ideology.
Responding to the song's popularity, Amazon posted a note on its page.
The statement translates to "Proceeds from Amazon from the sale of this song will go to a non-profit organisation aiming to help refugees," according to BuzzFeed .
