Earlier this week, a video capturing the moment a car crashed into a men's salon in Saudi Arabia's Al Zulfi city went viral on Twitter.
In it, a vehicle can be seen hitting a car parked in front of the salon, before speeding into its glass entrance.
According to Sabq news site, the tragic incident left one of the barbers dead and injured others who were at the salon at the time of the incident.
Initial reports on the accident falsely claimed a woman was driving the car that crashed into the salon. However, the person behind the wheel has since been identified as a man in his 70s.

The old man then left the store, but as he was pulling out of the parking space, his car hit a vehicle passing behind him.
"The man felt he hit something and must've panicked because he then sped forward, hitting a car parked right in front of the salon and then driving right into the place," the witness added.
One of the three expat barbers employed in the salon died at the scene after he was hit by the car. He had worked in the area for 25 years. Two others who were standing at the other side of the store survived the incident.

Traffic accidents are a major cause of death in Saudi Arabia
Car accidents are considered one of the >major causes of death in Saudi Arabia and heartbreaking >news of crashes often go viral online in the country.
According to statistics published in the past few years, a car accident happens every minute on average in the kingdom. This adds up to more than 460,000 crashes per year.
In 2017 alone, the country recorded over 7,000 deaths related to car accidents. In 2016,> 9,000 car accident fatalities - a number that translates to 12 percent of the total deaths - were recorded.
However, overall, things are getting better due to the implementation of the kingdom's electronic traffic management system, Saher.
"The introduction of Saher system has reduced the severity of traffic accident injuries by 20 percent and mortality rate by 37.8 percent," Sulaiman Al-Ghannam, a principal investigator, told Arab News.
This year, the system continued to contribute to lowering the rate of road accidents. While still remarkably high, the rate of crashes and related deaths appears slightly lower than it was in 2016.
