Doha will have a new, exciting mall gracing its skyline by 2016. The innovative, I-can’t-even project, said to reportedly cost 3 billion Qatari riyals ($823 million), will hold a Hilton hotel, 100 restaurants, and a glass dome. This new attraction, creatively dubbed The Mall of Qatar, which totally won’t be competing with Dubai Mall, will be as big as “50 FIFA fields” according to The Malay Mail Online .

While a mall does seem like a lucrative venture, we urge competing GCC countries to think more out of the box in their quest for the biggest, tallest and baddest projects. Below is a comprehensive list of what we want to see built to the size of “50 football fields” or so:

1. A bouncing castle, with a foam slide please

Bounce to work, feel refreshed

2. A ball pit

Honestly, why has no one ever thought about this? Probably because of the disgusting things that people leave there.

3. A roller rink – in the shape of a giant skate

You’re welcome, Doha.

4. A Labyrinth

Only the chosen one can beat the Labyrinth.

5. A hamster wheel

Exercising without a routine is just sloppy.

6. The tallest winding staircase you’ve ever freaking seen

Macchu Picchu got nothing on this.

7. Largest hole in the ground

Hassle-free execution.

8. Largest Bed

Because it is the GCC, a partition between men and women will have to be enforced.

9. Largest shisha

One huge shisha-shaped restaurant that actually works  is the Arab dream.
