If you're a 90s kid that grew up in Lebanon, you already know that there are certain things we simply had things better . We did more with less and that's the plain truth! Could you imagine your life back then without these 9 brands?

 1. Master

You know your childhood revolved around collecting those master chip tokens, the equivalent to Pokemon cards. They were the bomb.

2. Fantasia

Those were the days. The variety of flavors really made your weekend all the better, especially the finger-licking salt-and-vinegar ones!

3. Bonjus/Top Juice

Basically anything that came in triangular shape. You can't drink it anymore because it's packed with sugar like no other, but back then you were obsessed with it. It went along with everything, made the perfect compliment to your manoushe.

The best part of it was filling it up with air and stepping on it with your foot. POP.

4. Eastpak

If you didn't carry an Eastpak, you just weren't considered a cool kid. Even if you did own one, it came with its own set of rules too. You had to carry it on one shoulder, not two. And it was considered way cooler if your backpack was empty.

5. Bic

Even though, the "stylo" was mandatory for some of us, it was considered "cool" to write in BIC. Yes, this 250 L.L. pen determined whether you stuck with the cool kids or not. If only things were still that easy.

And yes, uniball pens were also a thing. But they couldn't top these pens of perfection in simplicty.

6. Tofita

Eating one was never ever enough. It was more like one pack in less than a minute. And this was long before the packaging turned into just 5 pieces. Looking back, I think Lebanese kids had more than a fair share of sugar rushes.

7. These Adidas shoes

You would say Nike is basically the new Adidas for kids nowadays, don't you think? But back in the day, wearing these white striped Adidas shoes were like your membership card to the "cool cats club".

8. Chupa Chups

It's sad to see these lollipops disappear. They came in all sorts of flavors, making your trips to the dekkene all the more fruitful.

9. Nido

Not sure if this left a good or bad mark on you. Let's just say it left a mark, but we don't think it followed you to graduation as it hoped.
