You've all probably seen the new computer generated images of Dubai Steps that were released on social media, and there's just a few things you need to know before you go spreading the word around town!

1. The exact location is yet to be determined. Dubai Municipality has listed certain " possible " locations for these steps including Dubai Creek, Dubai Marina and Union Square in Deira

2. It is expected to have 500 steps, and be about 100 meters high

This isn't the highest in the world. There are many steps around the world that have been constructed, however what makes this one especially unique is fact #5.

3. It is considered to be a "cultural and sport project" part of Dubai's 2021 green and sustainability project

4. The project was first revealed in April

5. The steps lead nowhere

6. The construction will feature mini gardens...and aims to be a leisure destination and an exercise challenge for visitors

7. There will be five dedicated rest and event areas every 100 steps

8. Construction date has not been finalized. Once it is, the steps will take 12 months to be completed
