1. Saudi riyal (2009)
Featuring an overview look at Mecca, the holy city of Islam. All banknotes are issued by Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency as of 1953.
2. Lebanese pound (1993)
Featuring the Fortress of Byblos and Phoenician statues to the left. All banknotes are issued by Banque Du Liban, which was given sole right to issue notes in 1963.
3. Qatari riyal (2003)
Featuring native birds, this banknote was first issued in 2003, but was later revised in 2008. All banknotes are issued by Qatar Central Bank, which was established in 1973.
4. United Arab Emirates dirham (1993)
Featuring the Central Souk in Sharjah, from the 1989-1996 series. All banknotes are issued by the UAE Central Bank .
5. Syrian pound (2010)
The 2010 series of Syrian banknotes features the Roman theater at Bosra. All banknotes are issued by the Central Bank of Syria as of 1957.
6. Egyptian pound
Featuring the Mosque of Qanybay El-Rammah. All banknotes are issued by the Central Bank of Egypt as of 1961.
