Many - and by many, we mean Arabs and non-Arabs - continue to protest Israel's human rights violation and its occupation of Palestine.
And for that reason, a lot of governments in the region ban any form of interaction with Israelis. In cases where an official peace treaty is in place, it is still seen as a major taboo to do so.
While >Arab figures are mostly >vocal about their support to the Palestinian cause, others have been accused of the opposite.
These 10 Arab stars were criticized for going against social, cultural and sometimes even legal norms.

Nationals who violate this law are prosecuted and can get jail time.
Doueiri was arrested upon his arrival to the Rafiq Hariri International Airport last September, but the military court's judge later >cleared the director because he found "no criminal offense in the case."
