Last week, the usually safe Emirates were taken by storm when Dalal al Hashemi - known as the Reem Island Ghost - attacked and fatally stabbed an American teacher on Reem Island in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

Al Hashemi, who was veiled, also tried to place a bomb in the house of an Egyptian-American doctor, but the man's 13 year old son found the bomb and the family alerted the authorities.

Although is some speculation that al Hashemi was targeting foreigners, the Abu Dhabi police have declined to comment on if this event is being considered a terrorist attack.

They police however, decided to release a Law and Order-style video to celebrate the capture of Al Hashemi. The video has been edited to the soundtrack of the Batman film The Dark Knight and to call it dramatic would be an understatement. From the CSI-style circles that point out the evidence to the close-ups of blood stains on the steering wheel to the grand finale featuring the Emirati flag, it is certainly something to behold.
