A report has emerged that a man of Ugandan origin has allegedly committed suicide at Noor Bank Metro station in Dubai on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident took place at approximately 2 pm today and has been confirmed by the Dubai Police. It is believed that the man was facing financial difficulties, according to a report in the Khaleej Times.
People at the scene told the publication they heard a noise and "after about 10 seconds, I saw an African on the ground, covered in blood."
The police arrived at the site in record time, and he was rushed to the hospital, the witness added.
The service at Noor Bank Metro service was temporarily suspended and is now running again.
