There has been a ton of reactions in the wake of U.S. President Donald Trump and German Chancellor Angela Merkel's meeting at the White House last week.
But Merkel's face in particular boasts an expression we can all relate to.
1. The forgot your Tupperware at work death stare
Everyone has experienced the consequences of forgetting to bring their mom's Tupperware home. It's seriously not pretty.
2. She got it from her mama
Arab moms have learned the fine arts of the death stare from their mothers before them. This is why you should never, ever, ever push your luck with your grandmas. Telling your Arab grandma you're not hungry is like telling her she has no control over your life!
3. What do you mean you don't want to be a doctor?
All Arab families want their kids to have a good education so that they can get a respectable job later in life. Unfortunately, anything other than a doctor, lawyer or engineer is not good enough for Arab parents.
4. Why yes, camels are us, why do you ask?
Many stereotypes about Arab people have seriously influenced the way many foreigners view us, and this is one of them. Just have fun with it when you can't be bothered debating.
5. Couches and food don't mix
That terrifying moment when your drop food on the couch and your mom sees you.
6. Spice, spice baby
If you grew up in an Arab household you can definitely relate to the disappointment of opening a Nutella jar only to find that its just another one of those jars that your mom uses to store her spices.
7. There's mom in cardamom
Although cardamom adds flavor to food, getting a mouthful of it isn't the most tasteful thing in the world.
8. So much confusion
Foreigners are always confused when they hear Arab parents calling their kids "baba" or "mama". It's cultural.
