It has come to our attention that Hollywood has its share of Muslim actors.

They have proven to be worthy of being on TV and silver screens for their tremendous talents... and their good looks.

Here are seven of Hollywood's finest Muslim actors:

1. Riz Ahmed

Riz Ahmed is a British-Pakistani actor and activist known for being the first Muslim to win an Emmy Award for Acting in 2017.

Ahmed's winning role in the hit show, The Night Of, amassed great reviews and eventually gave him the exposure he deserved.

2. Faran Tahir

The American-Pakistani TV star is recognized from his various roles in several American TV shows such as Criminal Minds, Supernatural, and Prison Break: Resurrection. 

One of his most high-profile roles was in Iron Man (2008). 

3. Omar Metwally

Partly Egyptian and Dutch, Metwally spoke to Vox about his desire to challenge common stereotypes and misconceptions of Arabs and Arab-Americans in the documentary play, Sajjil

''I wanted to challenge those representations, and provide alternatives, and show a richer more complex picture.

And, hopefully, allow people to think about Arabs and Arab-Americans in a different way than maybe they thought of them before," he said.

4. Alexander Siddig

Siddig has reportedly revealed that his uncle was the ruler of Sudan, making him the descendant of one of the country's most notorious despots. 

The British-Sudanese actor is known for his appearance on several TV shows including Game of Thrones, Gotham, and Peaky Blinders. 

5. Aasif Mandvi

Among his various contributions and projects, Mandvi is the lead actor, co-writer, and producer of the web show Halal in the Family

It's a sitcom parody about an all-Muslim family with the goal of combating common stereotypes about Muslims in America. 

6. Omar Sy

Known in France for his role in Samba (2014) and Omar et Fred, Omar Sy is also an international star. 

He's been in the Intouchables (2011), X-Men: Days of Future Past, Jurassic World, and Transformers: The Last Knight.

7. Mahershala Ali

Ali is the first Muslim actor to win an Academy Award for his role as Juan in Moonlight (2016).  

Ali talked to The Radio Times about the discrimination he faced upon converting to Islam in 1999. 

''If you convert to Islam, after a couple of decades of being a black man in the US, the discrimination you receive as a Muslim doesn’t feel like a shock. I’ve been pulled over, asked where my gun is, asked if I’m a pimp, and had my car pulled apart.''
