You've survived the endless list of questions your mom asked you when you met a new guy and all the things she says over and over again... and surprise, you're married now!

While marriage can be difficult for numerous reasons, having an entirely new mom you have to respect and impress is probably at the top of that list.

If you're already married and have a mother-in-law who is part of your life in one way or another, you'll definitely find these seven things relatable.

1. She's always secretly worried about how old you're getting

You're always weirdly reminded of that relative who had five kids by 35.

2. And no matter what, you're never good enough for her child

You could be an engineer at NASA, but she'll still think her daughter or son settled for you.

3. If it's not her recipe, it's a no-no

Nothing is as disgraceful as asking for a recipe and not sticking to it.

4. Speaking of food, you're canceled forever if you don't finish your plate

You could leave food in your plate or just directly yell straight to her face that you don't like her. The choice is yours.

5. But nothing beats getting complimented by her

If she says she likes your dress, you're probably going to have to wear it every other day from now on.

6. And feeling like you have not one, but two moms

Double the love, attention, and care. What's not to love?

7. Because no matter what, you know it would suck not to have her around

It can be challenging, but having a mother-in-law (with all her flaws) is better than not having one at all.
