The UAE’s Instrgram is flooded with great accounts and beautiful photos. But if you are looking for accounts that can inspire you, motivate you and make you giggle, then you have to add these 6 names to your social media feed!

These UAE influencers are a great example of the talented and inspiring young Emirati youth who are bringing positive change to their community and paving a new path for everyone else.

Meet the 6 Emirati influencers you need to follow now.

1. Rashed Alnuaimi, the vocalist

Hussain Al Jassmi better watch his back because there is a new mega talent in town! Rashed Alnuaimi, 24, is the first male Emirati opera singer and he already has solo performances under his belt including a stint at the Abu Dhabi National Theatre.

Alnuaimi (who also sings jazz and pop) shares his latest performances on his YouTube channel when he’s not busy doing his military service and serving his country. If that’s not “role model” material we don’t know what is!

Mixing Arabic and English songs, he makes us addicted to his voice (which reminds us a lot of Sam Smith’s voice).

2- Zahra Lari, the figure skater

If you still need proof that hijab doesn’t stop you from following your dreams and turning them into reality, then meet Zahra Lari.

This Abu Dhabi born figure skater is dubbed as the “ice princess in hijab” and is currently training to represent the UAE in the 2018 Winter Olympics. This will make her not only the first female Emirati participant, but the first Emirati athlete to represent the country in any winter Olympic games!

The 21-year-old trains 4 to 7 hours a day and shares many of her training moments on Instagram.

3. Amal Murad, the freerunner

The best way to describe this Emirati athlete is “a tiny ball of energy and strength”.

Murad, 24, is creating her own path as the only Emirati parkour – a sport that requires a lot of strength, training and jumping – coach in the UAE! She posts about her daily workout routine and offers many fitness tips to her followers.

As a sign to her trail-blazing status, Murad was chosen by Nike to be an ambassador for the brand.

4. Khalid al Ameri, the social commentator

This young Emirati man has a lot of “titles” under his belt such as: columnist, entrepreneur, social commentator and Stanford MBA graduate.

But what sets Ameri apart from his peers is that he shares many moments of his life with wife Salama on social media, which is an unusual practice for an Emirati man.

When not busy writing valuable opinions on social topics and motivating us with words of wisdom, Ameri spends his time supporting charity foundations, hosting high profile events and praising his talented young wife.

We all want a guy like this in our lives!

5. Bader Najeeb Al Awadhi

While most young Emirati men aspire for a career in business or the government, 21-year-old Bader Najeeb Al Awadhi has a different path in mind.

At age 13, he discovered his love for baking while helping his mother make a carrot cake, and now, he’s the first male Emirati chef with two cooking shows on his resume! Bader also leads baking masterclasses and posts creative recipes with an Emirati twist on his YouTube channel.

We absolutely love Bader for breaking gender stereotypes, following his passion and decorating our Instagram feed with photos of heavenly looking desserts!

6. Abdullaziz Baz

If you are not following Abdullaziz bin Baz on Instagram yet, then do yourself a favor and do that now. You are missing out on a lot of hilarious videos and funny skits.

His videos combine humor with cultural satire and purpose-filled messages. His talent earned him a spot as a speaker at the Arab Media forum and now he is one of the most recognized Arab comedians on social media with almost 4 million followers on his Instagram page!
