Egyptian artists aren't afraid of stirring controversy with their love life – with some marriages even raising serious eyebrows.

1. Saeed Tabarik and Sarah Tarik
The marriage between the artist Saeed Tabarick and unknown Egyptian actress Sarah Tarik lead to extensive controversy over social media, with most people pointing out the huge age difference between the couple.
2. Ahmad Ezz and Zeina
Zeina declared that she had married Ahmad Ezz in 15 June 2012, which lead to a social media storm.
After Ezz had denied her allegations, Zeina said," I trusted a man who didn't deserve it, and I married him and believed that his father was sick, and he insisted on this marriage because he was pretending to be religious," affirming that they were married in the presence of witnesses, but both papers proving this marriage are in his possession.
3. Nabila Obeid and Ossama Baz
No one expected Ossama Bazz, the political advisor to former president Hosni Mubarak, to marry an artist. But this is what happened, as assured by Nabila Obeid a few months after the outbreak of the revolution of January 25.
According to Obeid, she and Baz were married, with a relationship spanning over 9 years, and they decided to keep the marriage a secret away from the public eye due to the sensitivity of Baz's position.
4. May Kassab and "Oka"

Ruby surprised her fans after announcing that her marriage to to director Samih Abd Al Aziz after a long love story, which led to controversy, as Abd Al Aziz was already married with three daughters.
Ruby refused to comment on the criticism, saying that she rejected the interference of any person in her personal life.
