Arab cities have proven just how charming they are by dominating traveler rankings and garnering celebrity praise - time and again.
Well, if you needed more proof, three Arab cities recently made it to TripAdvisor's 2019 Travelers' Choice Awards. The list includes travelers' top 25 cities in the world; the ranking is based on reviews from the travel site's users.
The Moroccan city of Marrakesh outranked two other Arab cities. It was named the 9th most-loved destination in the world among travelers. Are you even surprised?
TripAdvisor referred to the Moroccan city as the "red city" whose spirit is "magical, brimming with markets, gardens, palaces, and mosques."

Two other Arab cities made it to the ranking. These include the Emirati city of Dubai (No. 10 worldwide) and Egypt's charming Hurghada resort town (No. 21).
"Stunning coral reefs and turquoise waters perfect for windsurfing have made Hurghada, on Egypt's Red Sea Coast, a busy resort town," the TripAdvisor description reads.
As for Dubai, we're really not surprised to see it on the list. In recent years, the city has become a famed destination for celebrities. Will Smith is just one of hundreds who have fallen completely and utterly in love with Dubai.
"Dubai is a destination that mixes modern culture with history, adventure with world-class shopping and entertainment," the TripAdvisor description reads.
