Around the world in 80 days, X marks the spot - Well, with Airbnb, people will soon get to mark 18 countries off their bucket lists in just 12 weeks.

This June, Airbnb announced the launch of the division Airbnb Adventures, which groups "bucket list worthy multi-day experiences" in destinations around the world. To celebrate, the American hospitality company announced an all-inclusive trip (accommodation, airfare*, itinerary, food, drink, transportation) made specifically for anyone looking to stretch their wanderlust.

The company aims to become the one-stop destination for travelers, and this program is just the first step. Travelers will get the chance to go around 18 countries in 6 continents over the span of 80 days. The price tag for the activity-packed trip is $5,000 - which come to think of it is pretty reasonable.

*Airfare from any individual's country of residence to London, the initial meet-up destination, are excluded from the package.

"Hey boss, I'm taking 80 days off"

Yup, we understand that if you're employed, asking for 80 days off is not really an option. But, if you (and your employer) don't mind taking an unpaid leave, then just do it! It'll most definitely be an adventure of a lifetime.

Airbnb's latest division draws inspiration from Jules Verne's famed novel Around the World in Eighty Days. To make the experience all the more authentic, all trips will be led by a local guide, allowing travelers to explore the country as a resident would.

"With more travelers seeking adventure than ever before, Airbnb is looking to democratize the industry, offering more attainable experiences that are designed to unlock the power of nature, are led by locals and cater to a breadth of interests and abilities," Airbnb said.

Tickets will be sold in three different batches, starting on June 20. All proceeds of the program will be donated to the Malala Fund, co-founded by Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai, which leads the way in the fight for girls' education.

Two Arab countries included in the package

Just like the tale, travelers will depart from London. After meeting in the English city, individuals will head towards Asia, the Middle East, Africa, the South Pacific, North and South America, and Europe.

Two Arab countries are among the stops in Airbnb's world tour including Egypt and Jordan. The two Arab countries will be explored in the second and third week of the trip respectively.

In Egypt, travelers will get to go back in time and explore Cairo (aka the land of the pharaohs, as Airbnb describes it) as well as Luxor and the Nile.

In Jordan, adventurers will get to see the capital of Amman first. They will then stop at the hilltop city of Karak before venturing out into the Bedouin desert Wadi Araba. Of course, travelers will get a full-day excursion to Petra and will end up at the Dead Sea.
