A massive storm hit Lebanon over the past weekend, leaving coastal residents wet and cold while those living in the mountains found themselves buried in snow. The storm caused the country's education minister to call for a nationwide school closure on Monday as well.
While snow is very normal in Lebanon and throughout many Middle Eastern countries, there are always those annual storms that catch everyone a bit off guard.
