Every October, artists across the world challenge themselves to work on one drawing per day, as part of the month-long Inktober initiative.

Created by American illustrator Jake Parker in 2009, the challenge requires artists to create ink drawings inspired by certain prompts and share their work on social media.

Naturally, Arab artists take part in the challenge as well, showcasing their impeccable talents online throughout the month.

Here's a look at some of the best Inktober 2018 drawings by Arab artists:

1. From the sketches you can't help but stop and stare at ...

2. To the ones that make you stop and think

3. And the ones that hit you right in the feels

4. Care for some chicken... with a twist?

5. An artistic take on daily struggles

6. It doesn't get any more Lebanese than this

7. Nadine Labaki's "Capharnaüm" in a nutshell
