OSN Ya Hala will be producing the crazy-famous show "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" with crazy-famous presenter George Kurdahi
The show that has raised a generation of Arabs and sparked a phenomenon is coming back to the Arab world.
Here's how people from that generation (including myself) have reacted to the news:
Can you imagine the headlines?! "Jubilation on Arab streets as youngsters celebrate return of favorite show!" "George Kurdahi canonized by Arab youth!"
Jokes. Actually we're probably feeling a bit like this:
We made it, brothers and sisters. We made it! High fives all around!
Because, let's face it, when this came on, things would get real:
And you would invest time, sweat, and tears to know the answers to all of George's questions:
I was so close to winning the million, I swear.
Sometimes you didn't even know how it was possible some people didn't know the answer.
WHY YOU DO DIS?
But now that you're older and wiser, you know exactly what to do....
Where to sign up, you ask?! Well, according to Ana Zahra, the first auditions for contestants will be held between Sept. 17 and 20 in Egypt, the UAE, and Jordan where Kurdahi, with producers, will be asking hopefuls to answer a few general-knowledge questions.
If you can't make the auditions, don't sweat it! Producers will also be accepting contestants by phone or email.
You've already marked your calendar for October 16, 8 p.m., KSA time:
Don't talk to me, I'm busy watching George on "Who Wants to be A Millionaire" damn it!
