Royal Jordanian's fight against the "electronics ban" is still going strong – with its most recent campaign being a poem – offering passengers an additional 5 kgs when flying to North America.
After receiving an outpouring of support online, the flag carrier asked its followers on social media to put their creativity to work, by creating their own electronics ban poems. The prize?
Two tickets to the US.
"Write your own electronics ban poem for a chance to win two tickets to the U.S.," the carrier wrote in a Facebook post.
It started by offering additional weight on flights ...
And that's when people were asked to join the fight!
Some people's suggestions were downright polite ...
Others were the highlight of the fight
Others resorted to fright ....
Bringing teta's insight into the light
Disguising the ban as a "knight"
Some used overwrite to take the spotlight
But, this girl's witty response came at the speed of light!
The whole campaign was just bright ... and the responses were alright!
May the best man win the fight!
Last week, the United States and United Kingdom announced the electronics ban – restricting passengers flying from a number of Arab countries and airlines from carrying certain devices on flights.
It was described as an anti-terrorism precautionary measure.
