The world of fashion is both complex and beautiful.

There are various styles, colors that match, shoes that go with certain handbags, patterns and solids...

But, no matter how beautiful an item is, if it carries a certain message it's just that much better.

This was evident in both the New York and London fashion weeks, as hijabi models and modest clothing took over the runways, promoting inclusiveness, understanding and breaking stereotypes.

Arab female designers are rocking it too, catering to women who love to express their views through clothing.

Here are some that you need to know about.

1. Hind Adib wants you to have your own back

Dubai-based Iraqi designer Hind Abid created the X collection to help empower women and break stereotypes.

"X is a symbol of crossing off everything and everyone who's ever made us feel like we are not good enough, we are incomplete or that we lack the things that make us 'perfect'," a statement for her clothing-and-accessories line reads.

According to PopSugar, Abid first made designs on her blog, Hind's World. After receiving positive feedback from consumers, she started designing vintage jackets and other items.

To be honest, I can't wait to get my hands on one of them.

2. Tamara Al Gabbani is unleashing our inner Goddess

Tamara Al Gabbani got into this field "accidentally". She credits her designs to her innate talent.

“Everyone has natural gifts and talents, and for me, fashion is one of them, so it comes naturally. I don’t think that you necessarily have to study. I think it helps a lot, but I didn’t need it, I had this talent, this gift. I was able to design a collection in a very natural way, and it was very successful. I am very proud of it,” she told Salaam

Her first collection was named Goddess. For her, the word translates her brand’s identity. "It is the brand’s philosophy that all women are goddesses," Al Gabbani.

Al Gabbani was raised in Dubai. She credits her ability to go after her dreams to the UAE's women-oriented policies.

Even though her collection is heavy-cleavage based, it's still very popular in the Gulf.

3. "Modest yet Modern" - Rabia Z

Another dubai-based designer is Rabia Zargarpur whose slogan is, "to create style solutions for women who want to be modest yet modern."

The hijab has always been part of Zargarpur's collections, which she thinks of as a "liberating modern fashion piece," reports Salaam Style.

Zargarpur is said to have coined the term 'conservatively chic'. She promotes modesty with style, creating outfits for the modern Muslim girl.
