The Green Planet, a bio-dome designed as an enclosed ecosystem, will feature more than 3,000 plants, animals and birds...alongside the world's largest indoor, man-made tree.
The tree trunk is artificial, but "each branch has planters packed with tropical flora and fauna," which will breed a living environment suitable for the species, according to The National .
Porcupines, sloths, snakes are some of the species that you'll see at the rainforest.
The greenery is gorgeous and lush
The rainforest aims to be the go-to spot for class field trips, teaching students about tropical wildlife.
"This is a living classroom, an experience where anyone can learn about tropical wildlife," said Eric Hupperts, living exhibits manager and curator at Green Planet, according to The National.
"A visual connection with what children, in particular, are learning about is so much more powerful than in a sterile classroom."
The forest, located in City Walk, is set to open its doors to the public Sept. 1
If you're planning on heading over there, make sure to check the entry fees and opening hours before you do on The Green Planet's website .
