Attention all sky-watchers and universal geeks on our planet, Venus and Jupiter are drawing closer and closer together. Yes, the two brightest planets will completely converge, giving us one hell of a spectacular show.
Though they're millions of miles apart and aren't exactly moving closer together, it appears that way because of how both planets orbit around the Sun. Jupiter is much further from the Sun than Venus and therefore, it takes a longer time period to complete its rotation; when the rotation is complete and Venus lapses with Jupiter, the convergence occurs.
Night or day, this amazing sight can be seen around the clock all throughout June and will not appear again till August 2016.
