Thanks to MallMate, a new smart shopping app in the UAE, these things will no longer be an issue. MallMate helps shoppers explore nearby malls and search and find stores and restaurants within a specific mall. After finding a store or restaurant, shoppers are provided with on-the-spot directions, leading them directly to their destination. Kind of like Google Maps but inside a mall. Cool, right?
“The UAE, and in particular Dubai, is renowned as a global shopping destination. Furthermore, the UAE boasts one of the highest smartphone penetrations in the world, yet we find that consumers continue to use offline methods to discover, locate and shop at stores, especially inside malls, which is where the true value of MallMate lies,” said CEO Jaideep Dhanoa, according to ArabianBusiness .
The app also gives shoppers access to personalized deals from all their favorite stores, making sure a deal is never missed again.
