Saudi Arabia's national TV publicly aired a video featuring Khaled Al-Saqaby, a doctor specializing in therapy, who teaches husbands the "right" way to beat their wives.
The video is believed to have aired early February 2016. Al-Saqaby uses verses of the Quran to justify and back his arguments, however, in an attempt to manipulate, he chose just the right verses to trick men into believing it's OK to beat their wives.
He starts off by emphasizing that the problem is men don't understand how to deal with "disobedience"
But, don't husbands make mistakes too?
He goes on to explain the two things men should do before resorting to "beating"

Second...
If that doesn't work... then beating is a man's only option, eh?
Or else a woman won't learn her lesson

He mentions, in passing, that a wife could beat her husband... but don't we get a lesson on how to do it properly too?
He goes on to say that sometimes the cause of beating is the woman's fault... and that living in equality is a "grave problem"
