Rotana Tarabzouni  is an LA-based musical artist who was born and raised in Saudi Arabia. She is now working on her first EP and looking to do it completely independently.

The singer and songwriter has been recording demos for the past three years, and she hasn't gone unnoticed. In 2013, Tarabzouni was recognized by The Huffington Post for her cover of Lorde's "Team" for Saudi Arabia's campaign for women to drive. In 2015, she was one of BBC's 100 Women of the Year, and in February of 2016, Tarabzouni performed at NYU Abu Dhabi's Art Centre, making her debut in the Middle East.

Launching an Indiegogo campaign to help produce her EP, Tarabzouni had a goal of $30,000. In just 15 days, the goal was reached, and it has now been stretched to $50,000, with the aim of additionally covering marketing and branding costs. The artist is offering many exciting perks, from Skype calls to life-time free access to her concerts, and even free personal concerts.

Tarabzouni's dream is that this EP will inspire others to "live out loud" and follow their authentic paths regardless of what they are told is possible or not by society or culture. She also hopes that the EP will show the beautiful art that the Middle East has to offer.
