Ten years after the assassination of Lebanon's former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, a rap video honoring him has been released, with his son, former Prime Minister Saad Hariri, posting it on his YouTube channel this week.
The band in the video, Mn El Ekher, is from Tripoli and we've never heard of them before. And since when do people rap in formal Arabic?!
But, none of this really matters. The real question is, will "Howwe Li 3ammar" make Anghami's Top 10? Something tells us ... no. Just no. But we do have to give the video high marks for its production quality.
The song mostly discusses Hariri's achievements. With lyrics like "Ghayar Liban" which translates to "he changed Lebanon," what's not to love?
