Emmanuel Macron is currently the youngest President-elect in recent French history at just 39 years of age. His victory over far-right nationalist Marine Le Pen was sealed at 65 percent in Sunday's vote.

Naturally, his election was met with excitement, some disappointment and a flood of jokes.

Of course, Jordan's flagship carrier Royal Jordanian couldn't help but comment on the situation, playing on the words "left" and "right".

On Sunday, Royal Jordanian posted a photo on social media with the words that read:

"France is not that far ... right?" referencing Le Pen's political position, which centers around anti-immigration, anti-Islam and anti-European Union policies.

Taking more than 65 percent of the vote against Le Pen, Macron positioned himself as a "centrist" candidate, promoting himself as "neither left nor right" throughout the campaign.

After Macron claimed victory, Royal Jordanian posted another image that read:

"Fly left with RJ" ... the airline wrote in the ad, mapping out the route from Amman to Paris.

Despite the fact that Macron is a "centrist" ... the campaign passes the message quite brilliantly!

And people just loved it!

Others couldn't help but comment with their own level of wit ...

Credits to the awesome marketing team ...

Definitely not the first for the airline ...

This is definitely not the first time Royal Jordanian has come out with timely (and genius) marketing tactics.

In April, the airline was quick to respond to the United Airlines' incident, after a passenger was violently dragged off a flight for refusing to give up his seat due to an overbooking.

Royal Jordanian used the incident to troll the American carrier, with a play on the word drag (a colloquial term for cigarette).

"We would like to remind you that drags on our flights are strictly prohibited by passengers and crew," the campaign read.

The airline also came out in full force with its marketing tactics, following U.S. Donald Trump's electronics ban and Muslim ban.
