Mohammed Mounir, Egypt's King of Music, has undergone an urgent heart surgery, according to a statement made on his official Facebook page .
Mounir suffered a stroke which resulted in a heart attack and immediate action was taken to transport him to Dar Al Fouad hospital where the surgery was done successfully.
The King of Music is now recuperating from the medical procedure and is expected to return to the stage soon.
In a well from support from his fans, the King of music took the Twitter Universe by storm with three different hashtags, all in trending on Twitter, dedicated to celebrity from fans wishing him a speedy recovery.
