Palestinian singer and YouTube sensation Noel Kharman has wowed yet again with a new Fariouz mashup, teaming up the iconic Lebanese singer with American rock band Evanescence.
Kharman stunned the Internet world when she did a mashup of Adele’s smash hit "Hello" and Fariouz's "Kifak Enta" last November, which quickly went viral on social media. Her faultless performance has gotten almost 6 million views so far.
This time the 17-year-old tackled Fariouz's "Ba'dak Ala Baly," perfectly merging it with Evanescence's classic hit "My Immortal" in a beautifully haunting piano arrangement.
Kharman has showcased her phenomenal vocals once again, in addition to her ability as an artist to flawlessly combine modern Western music with classical Arabic music in a way that respects and honors both genres of music.
The mashup received very positive responses from social media users, with many praising the singer's beautiful voice and choice of songs.
Kharman, whose skill-set includes singing in multiple musical styles such as classical and opera, has been singing since she was 10 years old, when she started performing at local festivals in Palestine.
The Palestinian talent started her YouTube channel last October, she now has more than 92,000 subscribers. In addition to her Fairouz mashups, Kharman also posted covers of Sam Smith’s “Writing’s on the Wall” and Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams."
