The Maktoums are adventurous royals, and this time, we're not talking about Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed, but rather, a princess.
Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed has taken up a new hobby, skydiving, and the photos will make you want to jump out of a plane too.
Her photographer friend, Juan Mayer, has a passion for snapping images of people in the sky, and has a book featuring a collection of skydiving photos, titled Ultimate High.
Mayer and Sheikha Latifa had to make over 1000 jumps just to get the perfect shot.
Talk about dedication!
Of course, only a UAE royal could make skydiving look so elegant and simple, what with all her mile-high poses, traveling at 200 km/hr.
Mayer told EmiratesWoman.com that he's grateful for Sheikha Latifa not just for giving him the opportunity to photograph her but also for being extremely passionate about skydiving.
Mayer himself has jumped 11,000 times in his career, and says that Dubai has some of the best views, because "you have the city, desert and sea all in the same place. So, whoever is coming here to jump for the first time can enjoy all of it in just one skydive.”
But apparently, one just isn't good enough for the princess!!
Let's just say the princess is fearless, and we hope she doesn't stop doing what she loves, however risky, anytime soon.
