No one likes to slog through their backlog of email and memos. So what could be a better way to avoid work than to cruise through your city, Tron-style?

Vector Map, a project created using Mapzen’s  Tangram mapping engine, has applied a Tron filter to the entire world, letting you cruise through your city as if it were all one big computer simulation.

Useful? Not in the least, but who hasn’t ever wondered what life would be like if everything were digitized and turned into a neon mess of lines and pulsing traffic?

The map, which requires a WebGL-enabled browser, has no search function, so it takes quite a bit of zooming and scanning to get to your city. We’ve pulled some particularly cool looking regional cities below to save you time. Have fun exploring.
