As the family also owned land in Faqra, the brothers decided to open a winery there, which opened its doors in 2014. Established in 1923, Chateau Nakad is the result of three generations of winemakers. Today, the grandchildren of Joseph Nakad carry on the tradition he began. Located in the village of Jdita/Chtaura, the winery is built on the remains of wine cellars dating back to the Bronze Age. Founded in Chatura all the way back in 1868, Domaine des Tourelles draws on the millennia of winemaking history that Lebanon has long been known for.
