Majid al Futtaim, an Emirati holding company based in Dubai, is set to open up the Mall of Egypt on March 3. The mall will be hosting a staggering 350 shopping outlets, 50 restaurants and, best of all, the country's very first snow park!
According to Cairo Scene, the mall is set in 6th of October city, and spans over 400,000 square meters, costing a hefty 6.3 billion Egyptian Pounds (around $390 million) to build!
Besides the outlets, the mall will have the very first VOX cineplex, with 21 screens, a Magic Planet amusement center, and a Carrefour hypermarket.
The center follows a very similar design to that of Futtaim's Mall of the Emirates, down to the name.
Mall of the Emirates also includes Ski Dubai, a snow park with the world's first indoor black diamond run.
Since they're following in the footsteps of the second largest mall in Dubai, can we expect to see penguins in Egypt's snow park?
