This is not the first time a Lebanese designer has dressed a famous international celebrity, but it was the first time that Shady Zeineldine got to dress Madonna in her video, "Living for Love."
Madonna rocked that video and was rumored to have had Shady design several outfits for different occasions, including the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
Kuwait-based Lebanese couturier Shady Zeineldine is already well-known in the Middle East, but working with such an international celebrity is site to boost his popularity.
The designer told Style that, “I’m a longtime, big fan of her. ... She’s everything for me."
He is credited with designing the trendy matador outfit in the music video. As for his inspirations, he told Style that,"I tried to do something matador-inspired but with a touch of femininity, something more delicate."
“I used many kinds of lace and [decided on the] nude color for the lining to show her sexy body,” he continued.
Madonna, the eternal trendsetter, first released the video on Snapchat. She was the first marquee name that the social media application has landed on their new video service.
