Khloe Kardashian posted a selfie of herself in a niqab Tuesday morning, a move that the self-promoting celebrity probably thought was a nod to her Emirati hosts but which has drawn ridicule and ire in the twitterverse.
The Instagram post has nearly 700,00 hearts – which is about average for the star's Instagram posts (#Jealous) – but it's also drawn a litany of criticism: cultural appropriation, double standards and disrespect.
