Multiplatinum-selling artist Janet Jackson is set to perform at the close of the 2016 Dubai World Cup horse racing series. She announced the exciting news via Twitter, sharing a promotional photo of her Unbreakable World Tour along with the news.
It will be Jackson's first concert in four months, after she rescheduled the North American leg of her tour due to emergency throat surgery. The Dubai date also comes five years after Jackson's last performance in the United Arab Emirates, which took place in Abu Dhabi.
"I am excited to perform for the global audience at this year’s Dubai World Cup, the entire Unbreakable company is looking forward to traveling with me to Dubai and being part of one of the world’s most prestigious events," Jackson said, according to Billboard .
