Poke fun at ISIS and people will call for your beheading, as Nasser Al Qasabi, a famous Saudi Arabian comedian, recently found out. According to Al Quds Al Araby, the Arab world unleashed a whole new meaning of Twitter madness over the episode in which the comedian hilariously makes fun of the terrorist group.

The episode in question depicts a father, played by Qasabi, traveling to Syria in search of his son and as a result, he ends up getting mixed up with the notorious group. What shocked the Arab world, however, in a good and a bad way, was when the actor started ridiculing ISIS sex tactics and beheadings among other things.

Many Arabs enjoyed this episode and its successful attempt to mock ISIS with the art of satire. However, the famous comedian is getting death threats and hate mail – he was even labeled an apostate for his work. According to AlBawaba.com, Jaleeb Al Jazeawi, some dude who went on a Twitter rant, has publicly threatened Nasser: "I swear to Allah that you will regret everything you have said. The jihadists will not calm down until your head has been chopped off."

During an interview with Al Arabiya TV, Qasabi said that he didn't care much about the threats nor is he fearful or anxious.

"God is my protector. I'm an artist, and the artist's essential role is to reveal society's challenges even if he pays a price."

Nasser also said that the show aimed to highlight other societal issues in the following episodes and thanked the public for its support.
