After years of typos ruining your nostalgic landscapes or the cutest #TBT family photos: rejoice. Instagram finally launched a comment editing feature.
The application is available in Apple's App Store or on Google Play . If you are already a "grammer", download the update and you will be good to go.
As to why this update is being included now, the Facebook-owned company said simply: “When you share a moment to Instagram, a typo shouldn’t get in the way.”
This was apparently one of the most requested updates from the camera-happy community of Instagram, a community who now boasts over 200 million active users . Not surprising, as the app is the most widely-used social media network for photos... after Facebook, of course.

The update also personalized Instagram's "Explore" feed. By tweaking the "Explore" algorithm, suggested photos and videos will be specifically tailored to users. How this will impact the low-key vibe of the application remains to be seen.
