'Inshallah' isn't the only word Arabs use as a substitute for NO

If you're Arab, you know that inshallah is the word to use when you want to get out of doing something. 

You use it to avoid signing up to a dinner you're invited to. Your parents use it to avoid having an argument with you on the spot. You get the gist of it. 

Now, because most people have come to realize what inshallah really means, using it to escape nightmarish situations won't work for long. 

So, here are a few alternatives to learn for the next time you're in need of an inshallah: 

What it literally translates to: We'll see. 

What it really means: Ha, no way!

What it literally translates to: Yes, why not? 

What it really means: Yeah, that won't work. 

What it literally translates to: Maybe. 

What it really means: No way in hell. 

What it literally translates to: For sure. 

What it really means: For sure ... not. 

What it literally translates to: OK. 

What it really means: Not gonna work. 

What it literally translates to: Leave it to tomorrow/we'll decide tomorrow. 

What it really means: Forget about it. 

What it literally translates to: Let's see what happens. 

What it really means: See what? It's done, not happening. 

What it literally translates to: If we live long enough to do this. 

What it really means: We'll live long enough but we're not doing this.
