Top-notch regional actors have been cast in ImageNation Abu Dhabi's highly-anticipated legal drama "Justice" or "Qalb Al Adalah" in Arabic.

Emirati actors Fatima Al Taei from "Iftah Yah SimSim"  and Mansoor Al Feeli from "Zinzana" have been cast in the leading roles. They are joined by a host of actors from the region, including Emriati television star Abdualla Bin Haider, Syrian actress Neven Madi from "Seashadow", Lebanese media personality Carlos Azar from "Al Layla El Akhira", and Saudi star Khaled Al Buraiki  from "Nas w Nas".

“I am happy to be a part of this great production. My character ‘Farah’ is an incredible character to play. She is a great role model and it’s fantastic to see strong female Emiratis depicted on television.” said Taei, according to a press release.

The Arabic-language show follows a young Emirati lawyer embarking on a career as she struggles to step out of the shadows of her father, a top lawyer in the UAE. The show focuses on the young woman’s relationship with her family and the cases she takes on in court.

The series – comprised of 20 one-hour episodes – has begun filming in Abu Dhabi, where production will continue until early next year. The legal drama is the biggest TV series ever set and filmed in the UAE and has created opportunities for the region, with more than 70 production crew members working on the project, 200 actors, and around 1000 extras.

"ImageNation strives to create content that is not only entertaining, but shines a light on the UAE itself and 'Justice'  is an example of this. The actors we have cast mirrors the UAE’s diverse population, while the characters depict our strong Emirati culture," said Alwiya Thani, an Emirati production manager for ImageNation.

"Justice" was developed by ImageNation’s partner Walter Parkes and Emmy award-winning writer Billy Finkelstein of "Law & Order" and "NYPD Blue". Young filmmaker Ahmed Khaled is directing, with MENA-based Beelink Productions managing the show’s production. Emmy-nominated Executive Producer Marc Lorber of "Beyond Borders" is overseeing the project.

ImageNation has also partnered with the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department to ensure the court drama remains authentic.
