Western celebrities swoop into the region for visits on the regular, with some staying longer than others.
But what if they permanently relocated? Which Arab cities would they choose?
Here are our predictions:
1. Will Smith in Marrakech
Earlier this year, Will Smith swung by the region to visit Egypt and Morocco. And in Marrakech, he was totally in his element.
From his fashion choices to his dance moves, the "Fresh Prince" looked right at home.
2. Angelina Jolie in Damascus
Due to her international celebrity status, Angelina Jolie has become one of the most prominent advocates for Syrian refugees. She has come to the region on numerous occasions to visit refugee camps and spend time with displaced families.
3. Lindsay Lohan in Dubai
OK, so she kind of already moved to Dubai ... or so the rumor goes.
Lohan has been spending a lot of her time in the Middle East in the last several months. She's hung out in Turkey, Kuwait and the UAE.
But Dubai seems to be the ideal international hub for the Mean Girls star.
4. Rihanna in Abu Dhabi
Just no more photo-shoots at Sheikh Zayed Mosque please!
5. Beyonce in Cairo
Beyoncé has visited Egypt in the past and she has never hidden her love for ancient Egyptian style. Maybe relocating to the capital of the country is the perfect fit for her?
6. Ricky Martin in Beirut
Ricky Martin and his Syrian boo could live a glamorous life in Beirut. Martin has vacationed and performed in Lebanon several times before.
We're sure he'd be more than happy sunbathing at Saint Georges or the Riviera Hotel by day, and spending his evenings bar-hopping in Badaro or at one of the city's legendary rooftop clubs.
After all, Beirut is basically the definition of "la vida loca."
7. Bella and Gigi Hadid in Amman
Considering Bella and Gigi Hadid's father is a Jordanian citizen, who even represented the country in the Olympics, maybe they should consider relocating to Amman and reconnecting with their heritage?
8. Jennifer Aniston in Dubai
She'll just live on an Emirates' plane. Her biggest concern will be whether she'll stay in economy or first class.
9. George Clooney in Beirut
George Clooney is married to Lebanon's superstar human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin, so Beirut is the natural choice.
The couple are expecting twins very soon. Where better to raise them than in their mother's homeland? Although, they wouldn't actually be allowed to be Lebanese citizens ...
10. Matt Damon in Wadi Rum
If Matt Damon could survive on Mars, he certainly can survive in the deserts of Wadi Rum.
Well, actually, he kind of already did, considering the valley's landscape played Mars in Damon's film The Martian.
11. Messi in Cairo
Egyptians completely lost it earlier this year when Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi visited the Pyramids.
Egypt’s veteran archaeologists Dr. Zahi Hawwas, who accompanied the famous footballer on a tour inside the pyramids, went as far as saying that “this is the most important visit in the history of the pyramids!"
