With news of hacking companies stealing headlines internationally, we decided to take a look into the financials and see how much these attacks really hurt the bottom line.
The answer? A lot. Like hundreds of millions lot, as public perception of the individual companies is damaged.
Note that we could not find exact numbers for some high profile attacks, including the Etisalat website attack this December and the Saudi Aramco August 2012 hack .
