Every September, the health community recognizes “Gynecological Cancer Awareness Month.” Gynecological cancers are characterized as the different types of cancers of the female’s reproductive organs with the most common being cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal and vulvar cancer.
Cancerous cells are cells that proliferate uncontrollably, leading to severe damage of vital organs, in this case, reproductive organs.
Genetics is one of the most common causes of cynecological cancers in females, however, it is not the only one. Many environmental and sometimes non environmental factors are also major contributors, such as diet, contraction of STDS, aging, etc.
With age, every woman becomes more susceptible to developing gynecological cancer.
