#FreedomForStreetKids asks if camera phones scare Egypt's authorities

#FreedomForStreetKids is trending after a satirical group was arrested for mocking Egypt's president.

Earlier this week, members of Awlad el-Shawarea were arrested for mocking Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.

The satirical Egyptian group mocked the president in a video criticizing the crackdown on anti-Sisi demonstrations and journalists.

Since then, their Facebook page has been taken down.

People have taken to Twitter with the hashtag #FreedomForStreetKids, ( الحرية_لاطفال_الشوارع ) in an attempt to free the members of the group.

Many have taken it a step further, taking photos of themselves with their phones and addressing the authorities while mocking them and asking "Does a camera phone scare you?"

Including Bassem Youssef...

*Does the camera phone faze you?*

Bassem Youssef himself has been a victim of satirical oppression with his show "El Bernameg." Back in 2013, an Egyptian prosecutor was investigating Youssef on charges of speaking against President Mohammed Morsi on hid show. The prosecutor's office claimed that the show was "circulating false news." There was also an arrest warrant issued for Youssef for allegedly insulting Islam and Morsi.

And the lead singer of Mashrou' Leila, Hamed Sinno  also joined...

Even Batman had to post...

*The group has shook the governmental system*

*The government as big and powerful as it is, is scared of a camera phone*
