Being unemployed in Lebanon is difficult. There's nothing worse than sitting at home wondering how you're going to kill time because there's only so much you can do. Right?

Wrong!

There's plenty you can do!

1. Discover Beirut's history with Beirut Old City Walk

Not only is this group very interesting, it's also super cheap to join. You'll be surprised by what you can find.

2. Hit the gym

Let me clarify: I'm not suggesting you sign up at one of those insanely overpriced gyms, but finding a gym that is not super expensive is one of the best things you can do. Not only will your body thank you a few years down the road but you will also make new friends... and meet hot coaches.

3. Take up a new (practical) skill

If you don't have enough money to pay for a workshop, try YouTube tutorials. You'll be surprised by how much you can learn if you dedicate at least one hour every day.

4. Attend  Dream Matcher

The Dream matcher experience is one of most creative things anyone has ever thought of. Not only is this amazing event used for socializing but you are also given a chance to write down three of your dreams and have someone in the same room help you achieve what you want. Think it sounds too good to be true? Try it out!

5. Download the Couchsurfing app
