For more than 30 years, Lebanon has remained in a stagnant position politically. Over the years, the candidates in Parliament haven't really changed much. And who's responsible for this stagnation?
Two Lebanese singers, songwriters and illustrators, Michelle and Noel Keserwany, decided to shed light on this issue with the release of their latest song titled "Zaffatleh El Tarik" (He Paved My Street).
The song turns the tables on Lebanese people for making the same mistake time and time again by voting for the same people for Parliament.
"We keep nagging that the same people have been ruling us for 30 years, but we are forgetting a small detail: We have been voting for them for 30 years!" Michelle and Noel Keserwany mentioned on their Youtube page.
This is not the first time the talented artists have taken an issue in Lebanon only to turn it into a form of art. They witnessed major success with their first single "Jagal el USEK," which garnered more than 500,000 views on Youtube.
