Jennifer Aniston's ad for Emirates has gone viral – with more than 75,000 shares and 3.5 million views on YouTube since being released Oct. 5 – but there has been some pushback, with commenters critiquing the ad for being elitist and out of touch with most travelers.

In the ad, Aniston has a nightmare that she is on an almost-amenityless, unnamed airline. She is shocked by the lack of a shower or bar onboard the flight, with flight attendants telling her that they only have wet wipes and peanuts to offer her.

While the ad is designed to point out the difference between Emirates flights and some of their American competitors, some people on social media pointed out that these types of amenities are only available for first class passengers – at a cost of up to $25,000 per seat.

As the critics are pointing out, anyone paying that kind of money on any airline in the world would probably be getting more than some peanuts and a hot towel. So Aniston basically just had a nightmare that she was in economy class with the rest of us poor schmucks.
