Fans of Benfica enjoyed a surprise safety announcement – Emirates style – at the start of a recent match.
Before the game started, Emirates flight attendants entered the field with an announcement welcoming guests to the stadium. The announcer then began to explain the match's "safety instructions" with the flight attendants adding visual cues in typical airline fashion.
The video has gone viral on Facebook, with more than a million views in the first 12 hours after it was posted.
Emirates became a jersey sponsor for the Portuguese team in May of this year in a deal that was estimated to be worth more than $33 million.
