Egyptian muscleman Mamdouh Elssbiay – dubbed Big Ramy – won first place in the annual Arnold Classic, which was held Saturday in Sao Paulo, Brazil, receiving his trophy from American bodybuilder, actor and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger Sunday.

Schwarzenegger called Elssbiay's victory, "a tremendous success not only in Brazil, but all over the world.”

Along with the massive trophy – although for him it may not seem so massive – Elssbiay will receive a $100,000, a Hummer vehicle and a Rolex watch. As a resident of Kuwait, Elssbiay has been training for the past three years.

With 28 different categories, the competition includes powerlifting, Taekwondo, table tennis and even pole-dancing ... what?! Yes, pole-dancing, although we have to imagine it would be very difficult with thighs that big.

The international event draws its name and notoriety from Schwarzenegger's sponsorship.

An Alexandria native, Elssbiay worked in his family's fishing business before he decided to pursue bodybuilding. You know, just a minor career shift.
